This year we are continuing the program set up by Mr. Fischer and expect to see even better results. I would recommend this product along with a pond aerator for maximum results. I'm dropping you a few lines to let you know how well your BactaClean has worked for me. In 1993 we had a pond dug out on our property. It is one hundred and eighty feet in diameter and four feet deep in the middle. We received tons of compliments on how pretty it was. However I noticed each year the bottom got darker and darker and by 1999 the water was murky. I had a pond analysis done and was told that I had something called Snailweed which in places had grown from the bottom to the surface. I was told what type of herbicide to get to kill the Snailweed, but what I was not told was the fact that the dead and decaying vegetation merely laid on the bottom and made the water even more clouded.
After much searching around and just about totally disgusted someone told me about USA BioProducts Co.. I called and a rep. came out and looked at the pond. I was told to use BactaClean Algae/ Type 1 (now Pond Cleaner) every two weeks. After a period of time I began to notice that the dark bottom began to recede inwards and that the water was becoming clear. Now the pond looks like it did at first and I will use BactaClean but just for routine maintenance.

Thank you very much for the excellent work you did last summer when you restored our pond. The fungus and algae had taken over the pond. All we could see were chunks of green matter which resembled Astroturf. Your first helped us bring our pH back to normal. Then your BactaClean bacteria went to work and brought our water back clear and clean so the wildlife returned to enjoy the facilities.
I will commence treatment in April, as you suggest, when the pond water reaches a desirable temperature above 50 degrees. I will add the bacteria provided by USA BioProducts Co., and we will follow up every two (ed.) weeks or so. This treatment should keep our pond in good shape. Also thanks for returning to us after your initial treatment to insure that your product was performing as it was supposed to perform. The results (using Aquaculture Pond Cleaner-HC) are very good after one week of treatment. the shrimp famrs environments remain in good condition if using it regularly. Benefits include increased shrimp production, reduced cost of drugs and chemicals, clean shrimp farm (pond) bottoms and no need to desludge after harvest. Very good in reducing algae, odor and improving clarity of water.

This hatchery is using Aquaculture Pond Cleaner to improve water quality and has had a problem with Vibrio. Since using Aquaculture Pond Cleaner their mortality rate has declined by 40%!

Hello Jesse, I'm sorry I couldn't reply your email sooner. But I wanted to wait to have more concrete results (from their testing of Aquacuiture Pond Cleaner-HC). We are very satisfied with your product, our farm has changed considerably since we started to use your product. The water quality incresed and we have improved in many aspects. For example, we used to have oxygen rates around 3-4 rnlg/lt. And now is around 5-8 rnlg/lt. of dissolved oxygen in the water. Our shrimp had black spots in high percentages around 30-50% and now it's down to almost 0%.

I have been thinking about giving you some feedback last week on the performance of Aquaculture Pond Cleaner-HC (APC-HC)... BACTACLEAN IS UNBELIEVABLE, we are able to hold off diseases and water quality problems thus avoiding mortality that is being experienced by other neighboring farms. Our ammonia level is insignificantly low and we are able to maintain our PH level at 7.6 (delta<0.5). We are also measuring a high amount of DO at 7.5, unbelievably high. I'll have to double check with chemical testing, although daily calibration is being performed with our meter using atmospheric oxygen (20.9). Our sludge accumulation is significantly low compared to our other pond which contains white shrimp. Please note we are only at our 6th week of culture. By now we are on our maintenance phase. How I wish we had this before stocking!
